Browser meetings without registration
Hostpoint Meet is a Jitsi-based video and audio service offered free of charge until further notice. Join through a shared link without registering or installing software on a computer. Chat, screen sharing and background blurring are included.
Limits and mobile access
Hostpoint sets no formal meeting duration or participant limit, but larger groups need sufficient device performance and bandwidth. Use a current supported browser; Chrome is recommended. On mobile, Hostpoint points to its iOS app and the Jitsi Meet app for Android. The service is not intended for livestream broadcasting.
Connections and privacy
Hostpoint states that its servers are in Switzerland. Connections between participants and the server are encrypted, but transmission is currently not end-to-end encrypted. Meetings can be password-protected. Check the service terms and your privacy requirements before sharing sensitive information.
