Threema Private is a Swiss messenger for individual and group chats, file sharing, polls and voice and video calls. A randomly generated Threema ID lets you use it without supplying a phone number or email address. The provider uses end-to-end encryption and publishes the app’s source code.
Private is sold for a one-time app payment. Organisations have separate products: Threema Work for centrally managed business messaging and Threema OnPrem for operation on their own infrastructure. Their licences and deployment terms differ from the Private app purchase.
