Search and optional AI functions

You can use Qwant in a browser or through its mobile app and configure it as your default search engine. The provider describes AI answers and a page-summary feature for signed-in users. Check source pages when using generated summaries, especially for decisions that depend on accurate details.

Qwant Junior for younger users

Qwant Junior is designed for children aged 6–12 and filters inappropriate content. It also offers educational material. Its privacy policy states that it has no advertising and requires no account for search; content filtering still benefits from adult guidance.

Understand the privacy settings

Qwant describes different processing for basic search, account features and consent-based advertising. Its policy includes pseudonymised query data shared with Microsoft, technical statistics and partner processing for AI summaries. Review the current settings and policy rather than assuming that every function operates without data collection or sharing.
