DNS4EU provides a free public DNS resolver for individuals in Europe, operated by Whalebone. Users can choose protective filtering, child protection, ad blocking, combinations of these filters or a variant without optional content filtering.
Each variant has IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and encrypted DNS-over-HTTPS and DNS-over-TLS endpoints. Setup does not require an account. The public service is intended for individual use; organisations have separate offerings. Filter choices can affect which sites and apps work.
